Hi my name is Gabriela,
I have recently just finished my diploma of Remedial Massage at VFA Learning. I have always grown up around sports and that is where my passion lies. I grew up playing and then later coaching tennis from the ages of 9-20. When I stopped playing tennis due to injury I decided I wanted to help people the way I was helped through my injury and recovery stage. I now work for Melbourne Demons VFL/VFLW and have experience in other clinics. Because of this I specialize in sports injuries and management. Other services I provide are pain relief for muscular skeletal injuries, headaches, sports injuries, Sciatica, and Plantar Fasciitis. I also provide Pregnancy massage, Lymphatic drainage, and Relaxation massage.
My favourite part of my job is being able to help people feel their best and most comfortable with their bodies. In the near future i’ll plan on furthering my studies into Myotherapy so i can continue to develop my skills and give clients more options throughout their treatment and just a better overall outcome.
Naturopath & Massage Therapist (Deep Body Work)
B.H. Sc. Naturopathy
Certified as; Massage Therapist, Dorn Spinal & Joint Therapist, Lester Cox Musculoskeletal Realigning Therapy, VoiceBio Sound Therapist, Biomesotherapist/Biopuncture
Initially I had practised in a multi-practitioner clinic where various forms of bodywork (ie remedial massage and the like) was done, and as a naturopath doing Live Blood Analysis.
I was also sports trainer to the Northcote Rugby Club for 2 years before practising on my own for two years in a beauty clinic where I continued to practise both Naturopathic and Remedial therapies.
I then progressed and worked on my own for 5 years where all the modalities I had studied where put to use. I now join theteam at Attitude and continue what I love doing. I love my work as treating and observing people regain better health is rewarding.
Remedial Massage Therapist.
Hi, My name is Andrea Wiltshire. I am a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist. I gained my Diploma in 2012 at Swinburne Uni. Learning and working with people to help many people improve their bodies with regular massage.
Introducing or sometimes adjusting exercise, specific stretching and postural awareness all contribute to a holistic improvement. Unlocking knots, that sometimes have been there for years. Using patience and sometimes Chinese cupping and tapotments to encourage the body to release holding tension, old injury memory, tightness from working out and also working every day. Massage is fantastic to release emotional tension also, which the body feels and holds. I get massaged very regularly and it helps immensely.
